Welcome to my blog.
You may be wondering right now whether this blog has anything interesting to say that you've never heard before. Well, my answer to that is simply this. MAYBE... MAYBE NOT.
It depends on where you're coming from in the great journey many of us take to 'happy ever after'.
For me, it's as simple as this. My journey to 'happy ever after' has so far been more along the lines of 'hysterical' than 'historical'. When it comes to me and romance, think not so much a 'Mills and Boon' love affair, but more like a 'Meal for one' at home all alone.
Don't get me wrong, I might have grown up watching Disney princesses find their very own Prince Charming, but I worked out long ago that real life isn't like that.
Still, where's the harm in looking for a fairytale romance anyway? You know what they say... "You have to kiss a few frogs...". Well I certainly have, that's for sure.
Over the years, I've been on more than my fair share of bad dates. Dates so bad that you wonder whether you are secretly being filmed for a hidden camera show. Where you secretly hope you are, just to bring the hell to an end and perhaps bring you your fifteen minutes of fame in the the process..!?!
Anyway. Back to this blog. I plan on using it as a sort-of online diary of my dating activity, mostly for my own entertainment, but if anyone out there enjoys reading my posts then all I'll say is this.....
